The Miami Design District is located within Little Haiti between NE 36th
and 41st streets. The redevelopment of this area started approximately
six years ago. Craig Robbins is credited with having the vision and know
how to bring it all together.

He began by buying up the run down buildings in the area and fixing them up.
He then persuaded top designers and architects to relocate. Currently, there are
approximately 125 tenants including Alison Spear, Holly Hunt and Peter Page.
The Miami Design District is progressing into a district of furniture showrooms
and designer boutiques.
